'Wag The Dog'

I am sorry, this blog can just be scanned over if you would like.  I have been investigating and trying to find out the 2011 seats and who has taken them and all I am coming across is a lot of nothing.  I am about to let go on a rant that has been frustrating me since I testing in Jerez Spain in the winter.

Since I have started this blog, I have received emails asking me where I get my information.  I happen to be very picky about where I get my info.  I will only accept information or statistics from the Formula One's official website, the FIA's official website and each teams respective website / press releases.  I no longer trust the general media.  Unless the can back up their claims and prove it.

It is, in my honest opinion, that when a comment is made by either a team or a driver, that only 75 percent of the time, the general media takes it and works it for their own purposes.  As ironic as it seems, here I am writing about the media and their hypocrisy, through the media, as the Mad Hatter!  *sigh*

As part of the human species myself, I admit, I am as drawn to scandals and the idea of another suffering as much as the next person.  Though you may not admit it as freely, Just take a good look at yourself. It isn't anything terrible, it is just human instinct.

With my blog, I try as hard as I can to keep everything as neutral as possible.  Sometimes it pains me to do so but I still try.   Yes admittedly, some scandals are 100 percent true.  The one that pops into mind is a famous quote taken directly from the Silverstone Grand Prix, "Not bad for a number two driver?"  The quote was broadcast across live international television.  It was something that immediately sparked the media's interests.  The aftermath of that comment was taken a little too far.

The media tool the story and ran with it.  Human nature tells each one of us that what we see on television and what we read in the papers is true.  I will let you in on a little secret, all the media is wanting is viewership.  They may gloss over some facts and spice up others just to get their numbers.  That is all it is to them, a numbers game, viewership.  Have you seen the movie, "Wag The Dog"?
