Unlike the previous three days, day four at Jerez saw three red flags on track. The first of the three red flags were brought out by debris on the track. Not disrupting the running time too long, there was only a 5 minutes break as the track marshals cleared the track.
Though being the most productive driver of the day, Bruno Senna brought out the second red flag. After seeing how long the FW34 could run for (70 laps before running out of fuel), Senna stopped on track.
Sauber's Kamui Kobayashi brought about the third red flag of the day. During his 58 lap run, Kobayashi's C31 was brought to a halt with a hydraulic problem (which was later confirmed by the team).
After a long winter, testing in Jerez has brought about the starting to the 2012 F1 season. The next opportunity to test the new cars comes at Barcelona, with the second test taking place from February 21-24 and the third from March 1-4.
